Following the Russian market, the updated Lada Niva Travel with a 1.8-liter engine went on sale in Belarus. Three versions are available to customers — Classic, Life and Techno, while there are more offers in Russia. The new engine develops 90 hp, which is 7 hp more than the power of the previous 1.7-liter unit. The SUV also received an updated front bumper and new lighting equipment.
The Classic version costs 47,110 BYN (approximately 1.25 million rubles), Life — 54,050 BYN (about 1.44 million rubles), and Techno is estimated at 60,650 BYN (1.62 million rubles). For comparison, in Russia the same configurations are more expensive by about 140 thousand rubles, which makes Belarusian prices noticeably more attractive.
Belarus has become the first export market for the modernized Niva Travel. Against the background of growing interest in budget SUVs, the model may strengthen its position in the region thanks to the updated design, more powerful engine and competitive cost.
