AvtoVAZ has announced the recall of over 14,000 Lada Travel vehicles due to the absence of a control unit for the emergency call system. All the cars were sold from October 2021 to November 2023, Rosstandart noted.
The agency clarified that all vehicles will undergo a planned installation of a control unit for the emergency call system. AvtoVAZ will inform the owners of the vehicles subject to the recall program.
Owners do not have to wait for a message from an authorized dealer and can independently determine on the Rosstandart website whether their vehicle is subject to recall by comparing the VIN code of their car with the list of cars within the recall program. All work will be carried out free of charge.
