Sollers has deepened the process of adapting Chinese commercial vehicles JAC, now under its own brand.
Production of frames for the ST6 and ST8 models has started in Ulyanovsk. 200 million rubles were invested in this project. The line capacity allows producing 10.5 thousand frames each year.
The production cycle includes the creation of technological holes, welding work with spars, and the final assembly of the frame. However, stamped parts are still supplied from China.
In recent months, full assembly of Sollers ST6 and ST8 pickups has been mastered in Ulyanovsk, including welding and painting of body elements.
The assembly of transfer cases for Sollers pickups and UAZ SUVs has begun at the Zavolzhye enterprise. Plans include organizing the production of crankcases at the same site.
