September 20, 2025, marked the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Lada Izhevsk automobile plant. Over the entire period of operation, the company has produced more than 5.7 million cars.
The plant became part of the AvtoVAZ Group in 2011. A year later, the Lada Granta sedan began to be assembled in Izhevsk, and in 2014 - its liftback. In the same year, the company launched the production of Nissan Sentra, and in 2015 - Nissan Tiida and models of the Lada Vesta family. Since May 2024, Lada Largus has also been produced here.
On the anniversary day, the plant hosted an "Open Day". Guests were able to see the full production cycle of Lada Largus - from the press and welding sections to the test lines. An exhibition of the current Lada model range was placed in front of the main building, as well as areas for sports and entertainment activities.
