In August 2025, the Russian market for new premium passenger cars showed a noticeable decline. According to the analytical agency "Autostat", 10.3 thousand units of such equipment were sold - 18% less than a year earlier.
Among the sales leaders, the EXEED brand stands out, retaining first place with 1,606 cars. However, there is also a decline here: sales volumes decreased by 55% compared to August 2024. BMW took second place with 1,328 units sold - growth was an impressive 62%, which was an exception against the background of the overall decline. TANK took third place with 1,252 cars, but it is also characterized by a decrease of 55%.
Hongqi and Lixiang complete the top five most popular premium brands. The first increased sales by 52%, reaching 1,193 units, while the second faced a drop of 29% - 1,021 cars.
