Mobile store will be able to autonomously serve remote villages

Tolyatti-based company "ATS-Avto" will launch mass production of mobile stores based on Lada Granta by the end of the year. The car is designed to work in remote villages and small settlements where there are no stationary retail outlets.

The project is based on a modified "VIS" van, created on Lada Granta units. The car received an extended base, reinforced suspension with pneumatic elements and control from the cabin, as well as a modified transmission. To save fuel, it is possible to install a bi-fuel engine (gasoline/methane).

Such modifications allow working on difficult rural roads and autonomously serving remote villages, performing the functions of a mobile store.

At the first stage, it is planned to produce several hundred cars, while the final volume will depend on demand. The idea of a mobile store was borrowed from Belarusian mobile stores, where similar solutions are already working within the framework of state programs.
