A steering wheel defect in the new Lada Vesta, associated with strong vibration due to engine mounts, is fraught with additional wear and tear on parts. This was reported by auto expert Vasily Kisenkov.
According to him, the vibration itself does not pose a danger to drivers. Consequences should be expected if it persists for a long time.
There is excessive wear of parts that are adjacent to the entire apparatus, in this case the engine. This means additional wear on the steering control itself. The service life of certain units may be significantly reduced.
Kisenkov added that Russia needs to create control bodies that would monitor the quality of parts that are installed on cars.
