A unique specimen has appeared on the secondary market in Kamensk-Uralsky — a partially armored SUV "Laura-19321-03", created on the basis of the three-door VAZ-2121 Niva. Such models were produced in small series by the Parfenov Design Bureau.
The peculiarity of the car is a non-standard door system: standard ones in the front, and a one-and-a-half construction in the back with an additional small door that opens against the direction of travel. Such cars were used by collectors.
The solution resembles American pickups like the Toyota Tacoma Access Cab, where this door facilitates access to the rear row.
