Honda continues to develop its large family SUV, and the 2026 Honda Pilot takes a significant step forward: updated exterior, more advanced electronics, and improved interior comfort.
Fresh Exterior Design
Visually, the Pilot has become more expressive. The main change is the enlarged radiator grille, now less trapezoidal in shape, which gives the front end a more massive and modern look.
The front and rear protective overlays have received a different relief and have become visually larger. Depending on the equipment level, the elements are offered in silver or black, emphasizing the character of the configuration - from urban to pseudo-off-road.
Familiar but Reliable V6
Under the hood is the same familiar 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6, producing 285 hp and 359 N·m. It works in tandem with a 10-speed "automatic".
All-wheel drive remains an option for basic versions, but is standard on TrailSport, Touring, Elite, and Black Edition trims - those that are oriented towards harsh conditions and maximum equipment level.
Multimedia and Instruments Have Become Larger and Smarter
A real upgrade has occurred in the cabin. Honda has increased the screen diagonals on both front panels at once:
- instrument panel: 10.2 inches (+43%)
- multimedia screen: 12.3 inches (+37%)
Now standard are: built-in Google system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a redesigned navigation application with a simpler menu structure. Navigation has become more intuitive: fewer sub-levels and faster access to the necessary functions.
Quieter Than Ever
Honda engineers have seriously worked on acoustic comfort. The level of some noises was reduced by up to 3 dB, which is perceived by the human ear as almost a twofold improvement. For this, new semi-tempered glass was used in the doors - they take on part of the aerodynamic and road noise.
Improved Handling and More Convenience
The manufacturer also reconfigured the electric power steering: the "zero" is better felt, the effort in the central position is increased, and the feedback has become more informative. Now the Pilot feels more stable and "composed" on the highway.
In addition, the electric fifth door drive is now available in every configuration without exception - it's nice when useful things cease to be the privilege of top versions.
The 2026 Honda Pilot is an evolution without sudden movements. It remains a powerful, practical, and family SUV, but now looks more modern, better equipped, and more comfortable in everyday driving.
The updates are targeted, but all - in the right places: silence in the cabin, ease of control, technology at the level of a demanding buyer.
