A new laser metal cutting area has been launched at the Ulyanovsk automobile plant

A new laser metal cutting area has been launched at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. The equipment was installed in the new press production area.

The laser complex will help increase the output of UAZ Profi models with a double cab and UAZ Pickup by 30%, as well as improve product quality.

The equipment specializes in the production of 3D parts of complex spatial geometry, including roof panels, internal and external side panels, and side panels.

Currently, the laser cutting area is operating in test mode, and it will be put into industrial operation in the near future.
