UAZ cars will receive updated engines in the fall

Tests of power units will be completed in September

In mid-autumn, UAZ brand cars will receive modernized engines. Bench tests of the ZMZ Pro gasoline engine have begun at the Zavolzhsky branch of the Sollers product development center, and the tests will be completed in September.

It is known that we are talking about a 2.7 liter unit with a capacity of 150 hp. To increase the tightness of the structure, the engineers increased the number of mounting points around the perimeter of the valve cover, as well as in the gaps between the spark plug well holes.

The engines are designed for UAZ models Patriot, Pickup, Profi and Hunter.

The improvements will increase engine reliability and optimize the efficiency of the valve mechanism. Control over the implementation of all operations will be provided by a high-precision processing line with digital control.
