Serial production of the new Citymax 8 model has begun at the Pavlovsky Bus Plant (PAZ). The transport has a capacity of 32 passengers and a length of 8.1 m.
This type of transport is in demand on routes with low passenger traffic, providing cost-effectiveness in operation for carriers and increased comfort for passengers.
The cabin has 21 seats facing forward. Additionally, there are three soft folding seats in the cabin. Entry to the bus is through a wide double-leaf door without steps.
For a smooth ride, the Citymax 8 is equipped with rear air suspension. The bus is powered by a G 2.5 diesel engine with 150 hp ("Euro-5") paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
To launch production of the new model, PAZ modernized its technological processes. Investments in the modernization of production amounted to 670 million rubles.
