AvtoVAZ continues to prepare the Lada Azimut crossover for mass production — and now live photos of the car's interior from a pilot production batch have appeared online. The photos were published by the AvtoPotok portal.
The shots show that the crossover will receive a digital dashboard, a panoramic glass roof and an automatic transmission. Recycled plastic is used in the interior trim, from which, for example, the hub covers of the steering wheel are made.
Apparently, the transmission shown is a CVT, similar to the one installed on the Lada Vesta. However, later the Azimut should acquire a 6-speed classic "automatic", which will appear together with a 150-horsepower turbo engine. Presumably, the gear lever will remain the same shape.
Mass production of the new crossover is expected in 2026, presumably by the end of the year.
