AvtoVAZ is preparing a production program for 2026, focusing on the market situation. According to the head of the company, Maxim Sokolov, plans for next year will largely be determined by the key rate of the Central Bank and whether demand support measures will remain in place.
But even in a conservative scenario, the company confidently expects to exceed the mark of 400,000 cars produced, Sokolov noted.
New models Lada Iskra and the Lada Azimut crossover should occupy prominent positions in their segments, Sokolov emphasized. However, much will depend on the competitive environment: especially in the Azimut class, where many similar models are represented.
AvtoVAZ can ensure production in a comfortable mode of two-shift operation of about 600,000–650,000 cars per year at two sites — in Togliatti and Izhevsk. I think somewhere beyond the horizon of 2030, we can come to this.
The financial results of 2025 will be break-even for AvtoVAZ for the fourth year in a row, Sokolov summarized.
